De 10 a 12 de maio aconteceu o evento “Law, Laguage and Professional Practice 2012”, na Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli, em Santa Maria Capua Vetere, na Itália (http://www.languageandlaw.info/llpp-2012.html).
Entre um cappuccino e outro, o evento reuniu pesquisadores de todo o mundo e contou também com a presença de estudiosos brasileiros interessados na Interface entre a Linguística e o Direito. São eles:
- Carolina Scali Abrita & Maria do Carmo Leite de Oliveira – PUC/RJ, com o trabalho “Reaching an agreement through ‘jeitinho’: from threats to the use of law, including favor exchanges. An analysis of Brazilian conciliation hearings”;

- Amitza Torres Vieira – UFJF, com o trabalho “Role hybridity in professional practice in an Hearing of the Special Criminal Court”
